| Onesime Francois Xavoera Le doux was born in Canada in 1862. He emigrated to U.S. in 1870's joined the Marines, retired as a Quartermaster Sergeant. He was called up for duty again in WWI (office duty) and was a career man. His son Arthur Landreville Le doux, Sr. (of Washington, D.C.) was also a lifer in the Marines,retired as a Chief Warrant officer and at one point was stationed in Quantico, Virginia. Onesine, Ida Mae, Arthur, Sr. and Bertha Le doux are all buried in Arlington National Cemetery. |
