2nd Lient. of the TN., Co E was recorded as a prisioner of War at the Johnson's Island Prisoner of War Depot located in Sandusky Bay, Lake Erie, Ohio. He arrived at the prison on May 1, 1862 and was transfered on August 1, 1862. He was captured at Island 10 on April 8, 1862. He was sent to Vicksburg.
